Pomona Baptist Church began as a mission in 1972 which was sponsored by First Baptist Church, of Dickson,TN. Groundbreaking services were held on November 16, 1974. Construction began on the new church building in February of 1975. Upon completion, the church was ready for its dedication on June 22, 1975. May 16, 1976 the mission became a "Constituted Church." During the time as a mission the church was affiliated with the Nashville Baptist Association, later to be accepted as a member in the Judson Baptist Association. On April 8, 1998 the church voted to be associated with the Truett Association. Pomona Baptist continues in this present day to be active in this association. Our residing pastor
Dr. B. Carter Elmore went to be with his Lord in December, 2010.  As of Sept 2011, our pastor is Bro Aaron Satchwill.
There have been many changes along the years with  many blessings at our church. Our prayer is that we have touched our community and our world. Our desire is to continue to serve the Lord in this community.

PBC SANTUARY

With joyful and grateful hearts we dedicate this sanctuary to God, who has loved us, who has blessed us, and who has led us in its task. O come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our maker, for HE IS OUR GOD.
